Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the K-Source Passenger Side Replacement Side View Mirror with the heat function. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2007 to 2013 Toyota Tundra trucks. And on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now this side view mirror is a direct placement for the passenger side factory mirror on your vehicle.
You can see it is modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. Now, this does offer a power remote capability, which means you can adjust your mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle. This also offers heated mirror glass, which will clear frost and ice, reduce fogging. And this is, does use OE grade convex glass, which is with surface planing to reflect any clear images. The front of the glass itself is plated with reflective Chrome and they use a convex lens which will provide a nice wide angle view that'll reduce any blind spots.
Now this is a breakaway design. Basically this mirror will fold when it's struck to prevent any breakage. You can see it is in a nice durable plastic housing with a textured black finish, and this can be painted to match your vehicle if you prefer. It is an easy, no drill installation. You can see it has the same footprint and mounting points as the factory mirror.
And then you can see right here, this is where the mirror plugs in to your existing electrical wiring. A few specs on this. This will replace the original equipment part number of 879100 C181. It is for a quantity of one passenger side mirror. And one note I do wanna mention is the power remote capability and the heated glass of this mirror will work only if your vehicle already has those functions.
